It combines an ergonomic design with advanced IP telephony features, wideband audio support, programmable line keys, secure encrypted communications, and flexible deployment options.
The series includes four models for different user requirements. The Cisco 7811 supports one line and is suitable for basic office users. The Cisco 7821 supports two lines, while the Cisco 7841 supports four lines and adds Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. For users who manage a high number of calls, the Cisco 7861 supports up to sixteen lines.
The 7821, 7841, and 7861 feature a 3.5-inch grayscale backlit display with 396 × 162 resolution, while the 7811 includes a 3.28-inch grayscale display. Programmable line keys can be configured for phone lines, directory numbers, speed dialing, and other calling features. Fixed function keys provide convenient access to messaging, directories, hold/resume, transfer, conference, and other frequently used functions.
The Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series supports SIP-based communications, full-duplex speakerphone capability, call forwarding, conference calling, call waiting, caller ID, call pickup, call park, shared lines, voicemail, corporate directories, and multiple productivity features. Security capabilities include device and signaling authentication, encrypted configuration files, TLS signaling encryption, SRTP media encryption, and 802.1X authentication.
All four models support IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet Class 1, while an optional Cisco power adapter can be used for non-PoE environments. The series is suitable for organizations deploying or expanding Cisco Unified Communications solutions as well as supported hosted calling environments.
